WHOLE DEPARTMENT APPROACH
The dispensation of pure
unadulterated justice is the key to finally stop the
killings. If only one side is addressed, the other side
will suffer injustice and that would lead to another
round of senseless killings. If the killings of
militants are given preferences, the ambushes and
liquidations of government men would be relegated to a
second-class league. The government cannot afford that.
When policemen and soldiers are discriminated against
and their very enemies are given preferential treatment
under the law, they might not be able to perform their
duty of protecting the State. This is dangerous as the
enemies of the State would easily have achieved a
Strategic Statement when the very protectors of the
State would be too timid to fight anymore. What is
needed is a program that would address the unexplained
killings and at the same time restore everyone's trust
and faith in the government's dispensation of justice.
